BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Avoid excess sun exposure, including tanning beds for 1 week before treatment, and use SPF 30 or greater daily to ensure coverage against UVB and UVA rays. Treatment cannot be performed on sunburned skin
Please come to your appointment with a clean face and no make-up.
Do not use any type of exfoliants 3-5 days before treatment
Discontinue use of Tretinoin type products (Tretinoin, Retin A, Retin A Micro) at least 5 days before treatment
Discontinue use of Hydroquinone 2-3 days before treatment
Must be off Isotretinoin for at least 6-8 months prior to treatment
If you have a history of cold sores, consider beginning prophylactic treatment with Valtrex or similar no later than the day of treatment

Our office is conveniently located at 1142 West Madison Street, Suite 306, in the heart of the thriving West Loop of Chicago, IL.
When you reach our building, Press "Directory" on pad and search "Confidence Bar" or enter "306". We're just a quick elevator ride or short walk up the stairs to the third floor where Suite 306 awaits.
For your convenience, you'll find street parking available right on Madison St. If you prefer a hassle-free parking experience, you can also use handy apps like 'SpotHero' or 'ParqEx' to secure a spot.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid unprotected sun exposure and/or use of tanning beds for at least 3 days post-treatment.
Refrain from facial waxes, laser hair removal, or depilatory creams for 48 hours after treatment.
Do not use topical Retin-A for 3 days following treatment.
Use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily for 3-5 days post-treatment.
Makeup may be applied the day after treatment

DAY OF TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Treatment cannot be performed on cold sores, active acne, or on open lesions in the area being treated.
For men, shaving is not recommended on the day of treatment
Avoid heat sources, including hot showers, saunas, and cardio workouts that may produce sweat for 24 hours
Recommended to not apply makeup after the treatment and if possible wait until the next morning to wash your face
